VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
YSB relies on dedicated volunteers to support youth experiencing crisis, homelessness, or instability. Share a skill, join an outreach effort, or help with recreation — your time makes a lasting difference.

Street Outreach
Volunteers
Support teens and young adults in crisis or homelessness. Volunteers (21+) work alongside Street Outreach staff to distribute supplies, share resources, build trust, and assist with on-site activities. Requires 6+ hours of training and one evening per week for 6 months (or one semester for students).
Small Group Volunteers
Join a small group (2–3 people) to lead recreational activities in the YSB Gym—like basketball, yoga, or indoor pickleball—and help youth build confidence and connection.
Individual Skill-Based Volunteers
Share your skills with youth through cooking lessons, computer basics, or mentorship. A few hours of your time can make a meaningful difference.
For Street Outreach Volunteers, it's important to note our
Drop-In Center hours are Tuesday/Wednesday 3:00-7:00 P.M., Friday 3:00-7:00 P.M., Saturday 12:00-6:00 P.M.
